I was born in Martinique, an island of breathtaking beauty — and fragile ecosystems.
After years of studying fashion and architectural design abroad and working in architecture, I returned home with new eyes. Back in the Caribbean, I began to witness firsthand the quiet threat that surrounded us: the growing accumulation of non-biodegradable waste, especially plastics, and synthetic fibers — often invisible, always harmful.

As I practiced my daily sports activities — hiking, swimming, running — I realized how deeply connected our bodies are to nature. And how disconnected our clothes have become from both.

Most activewear is made from synthetic materials, which not only pollute the planet but also pose long-term risks to our skin and health. Worse, finding truly ecological alternatives was nearly impossible.
